PREMIER LEAGUE! Man United Finally Take Decision On 5 Players That Went On Strike (SEE)

Manchester United are set to fine a group of first-team players, for their refusal to attend a sponsorship event this week.

At least five players failed to show up for a pre-planned sponsorhip commitment on Thursday and cited ‘transport issues’ as an excuse.

The decision was in protest at the club’s travel arrangements, that have seen them turn up late to their last two Champions League fixtures at Old Trafford.

However, United officials believe they are not to blame for the problems and are set to fine the group of ‘mutineers’, according to the Daily Mail.

The likes of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford attended a separate sponsor event on Thursday night and United want to see the same commitment from the rest of the squad.
