This is not the way we imagined it (or not.)
There were indications earlier in the day that Twitter’s like option was going to be removed. This story which propagated by the belief that Twitter has been “considering” removing the button. To heighten this belief, its CEO Jack Dorsey has talked about it more than once in the past few months.
However, Brandon Borrman has said that it is not happening anytime soon.
For a minute, we had our hearts in our mouths. This is because the like button which quickly gained prominence in 2015 is used by followers to keep track of certain contents.
